A Boy-Meets-Grill Story

Earlier this century, a regular Joe (actually, his name was Dean) had a dream. Why not open a restaurant that would let people check their troubles at the door, sit down in a cozy booth and get lost in an aged Angus steak, grilled to perfection and a chilled martini? His first restaurant, Michael Dean’s Wood Oven & Seafood Grill, was already a bona-fide North Raleigh mainstay. This time he set his sights on downtown.

Turns out he wasn’t the only one with this dream. Regular Joes and Janes from all over came streaming in to experience the outstanding food, service and unique atmosphere. After dinner on the weekends, the bar heats up and the joint gets jumping with the area’s best party bands. On Sundays, our Sunday brunch has something to feed your ears and and your appetite. And our Blue Monday special gives couples one of the best deals in town, and a reason to look forward to another week.

	Bogart's American Grill Specializing in rotisserie-grilled meats and classic American fare, plus an award-wining lineup of specialty and infused martinis, Bogart’s features a comfortable, casual retro-chic ambience that lures diners to step back in time and relax.
	Hi5 Eating is now a sport at downtown’s coolest sports restaurant and multi-media lounge. Hi5's daily menu features decidedly non-sports bar fare like American tapas and Kobe beef cheeseburgers. A plethora of plasmas, private fan rooms and nightly food and drink specials make Hi5 the place to watch.
	Twisted Fork Play with your food at our casual chophouse and bar twisted with a fresh bakery and unique specialty market. Featuring hand-tossed salads, soups, sandwiches, panini and mesquite and char-grilled meats. At Twisted Fork, you can order off the menu or way off the menu.
	Red Room A cozy tapas lounge featuring a vast selection of vodkas, wines and specialty drinks and a unique menu of Spanish-style appetizers. Red Room is the place to chill after work or into the night. With a DJ during the week and a live band on Saturdays.
	The Mash House Fayetteville’s most original menu coupled with an on-site brewery make it a local favorite. Decidedly non-chain choices, with a spotlight on hearty fare like steaks and seafood, coupled with our handcrafted beer make for a memorable dining experience that’s hard to find. The Mash House offers perfection by the plate, paradise by the pint.
